    Origin team up with the Grand Opera House to bring digital flair to show promotion.

    Origin Partners have teamed up with the Grand Opera House to bring some digital flair to the promotion of shows.


    The initial project was to add a mobile element to the marketing campaign for the highly anticipated Flashdance stage show.


    Origin came up with the idea to create a mobile site for Flashdance where members of the public can win tickets, view show dates and booking details on their mobile phones. Users can also click a button to automatically call the ticket office to secure their seats. Users can access the mobile site by texting 'flash' to a short code 80011 after which they will be entered into a draw to win show tickets  and sent a link to access the mobile site. The short number is being promoted on all outdoor advertising and printed promotional material to  ensure that users are aware of the facility. "The Flashdance mobile campaign is just the start of a series of digital techniques that we are  implementing to connect with our audience. We are focussing on using innovative techniques to make peope aware of the excellent  entertainment that the Opera House has to offer throughout the year" (Paul Coleman, Grand Opera House).
