Background
In an extremely competitive and crowded marketplace, Carphone Warehouse are continually looking to innovate to get an edge on the competition. So when Origin Partners approached with an idea to reach out and grab customers from the street they listened. Origin Partners had been researching the potential of digital interactive displays and saw a massive opportunity for the high street retailer whose target audience loves new gadgets and innovation. Following several workshops and brainstorming sessions on how the system could potentially work, Origin Partners were commissioned to launch a pilot of the system in Carphone Warehouses' flagship Oxford Street store.
Solution
The result is an exciting and stylish application, delpoyed on two 50" displays which allow potential customers to interact by touching the window. The main menu is an amazing 3D carousel which customers can spin with a top of their finger and the content is rich with images and videos, selling the benefits of Carphone Warehouses's newest services. When not being touched the display acts as digital poster display, showreeling the latest promotions. There is also various customer relationship functions which allow customers to book an appointment/call-back or be kept up to date with latest offers.

The Future
It is envisaged that Carphone Warehouse will roll the system out to other high footfall branches. Origin Partners will also develop a web-based content mgt system to enable the Carphone team to manage windows across the country from one central point.
